In the afternoon, guided tour of the archaeological excavations of Oplontis, formerly a suburban area of ??Pompeii which preserves the so-called Villa 'di Poppea' included among the assets that UNESCO has defined as "World Heritage", a grandiose residential construction from the mid-1st century BC. , enlarged in the imperial age, undergoing restoration at the time of the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
