Royal Palace of Caserta, San Leucio and Typical Cusine

Between monumental complexes and traditional cuisine.

Meeting with the guide in Caserta designed in the 18th century by Vanvitelli, commissioned by Charles III of Bourbon, the Palace represents the triumph of Italian Baroque. We will pass through the rooms of the marvelous palace and retrace the history of the Bourbon dynasty. The guided tour continues in the Park which can compete, in terms of scenography and variety of plants, with the famous parks of Versailles and Schonbrunn. Possibility of using an internal bus that allows you to travel through the Royal Palace Park and easily reach the famous Diana and Atteone waterfall. The park is divided into three parts. The old forest, the monumental central avenue with its water features flowing from the spectacular fountains, and the wonderful English Garden.
Lunch in a restaurant to taste the excellent "mozzarella di bufala" local products accompanied by local wines. 
The visit will continue with a visit of Belvedere monumental  to the San Leucio. It 's an industrial archeology site which completes and enriches the view of the Royal Palace of Caserta. It was, in fact, one of the flagships of the Bourbons.  The Museum is made up of different sections: the industrial archeology section, i.e. the ancient Silk Factory, the Historic Apartment and the Royal Gardens. What characterizes this site is the very close historical relationship determined by the building-container and the collection of goods present in it forming a single whole. The visit itinerary, enriched by multimedia devices that help understand the enormous work behind each silk product. Industrial Archeology section, spread over two floors and houses numerous machinery and equipment of the time used in the various phases of silk processing. Royal Apartment,  consisting of a series of particularly fascinating rooms, in which silk is always the protagonist. 
The Royal Gardens open onto the side of the Palace, arranged on seven terraces. End of services.
