Day 1 – PAESTUM AND BUFFALO MOZZARELLA
Arrival in Paestum and meeting with the guide. We begin our adventure with a visit to the most famous archaeological area of Magna Graecia, exploring the magnificent temples and the Archaeological Museum, which houses unique Italic painting cycles. We continue with a visit to a renowned buffalo mozzarella producer, where a light lunch with local delicacies awaits us. After a day rich in history and flavors, we transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – PALINURO AND VELIA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Palinuro. We have an exciting boat trip along the spectacular caves, coves, and beaches of the Mediterranean coast. After lunch, we head to Velia to explore the archaeological area, walking in the footsteps of the great philosophers Parmenides and Zeno. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3 – PADULA AND THE POLLINO PARK
Breakfast at the hotel, check out, and departure for Padula. Visit to the Certosa of San Lorenzo, one of the most imposing monumental complexes in southern Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Typical lunch with local products and wines from the area. We then continue to the Pollino National Park, reaching Viggianello, where we will spend the night. Free time to explore the local markets and hotel accommodation. Dinner featuring Lucanian specialties and overnight stay.
Day 4 – TREKKING IN THE POLLINO PARK AND THE VILLAGE OF LAINO
Breakfast at the hotel and morning dedicated to a trail immersed in the woods of the Pollino Park. We will follow a traditional transhumance path, through lush vegetation and observation huts, with the possibility of spotting deer. Lunch at the hotel, and in the afternoon, a visit to the village of Laino, a charming cluster of narrow streets and ruined houses on a rocky hilltop. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5 – AGROPOLI
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure for Agropoli, a picturesque medieval village overlooking the sea. Visit to the historic center and departure for the return journey.
