This itinerary, guided by expert archaeologists, allows us to understand the structure of the villas of the ancient Roman aristocracy, both those more rustic located inland and those that are located on the coast. The latter, thanks to their location close to the coast and far from the large towns, gave the opportunity to enjoy a healthy climate and to get away from the chaos of the city. The visit includes the villa of Poppea, imposing and luxurious residence attributed to the wife of Nero, in the ancient Oplontis, now Torre Annunziata and the visit to the hilly villas in a panoramic position, the ancient Stabia, today Castellamare di Stabia.
